Terms of Service

Callwyn is a trading name of Manjot Bhoot ("we", "us"), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. These terms apply when you use callwyn.com or the Callwyn AI receptionist service. By starting a trial or subscribing, you agree to them. They are intended for businesses, not consumers.

1. The service

Callwyn provides an AI receptionist that answers calls forwarded to it, takes callers' details and booking requests, and sends call summaries to you by text and/or email. We set the receptionist up using the information you give us about your business.

2. Free trial

New customers can use Callwyn free for 14 days. No payment details are needed to start. If you don't want to continue after the trial, just tell us and switch off call forwarding; you won't be charged.

3. Fees and cancellation

  • After the trial, you pay the one-off setup fee and monthly fee for your plan, as shown on our pricing page or agreed with you in writing.
  • Plans run month to month. You can cancel at any time by emailing us, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month.
  • If calls go beyond your plan's monthly limit, we will contact you to agree a plan change before charging anything more.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information about your business, and tell us when it changes.
  • Use Callwyn lawfully, including any requirement to tell callers they may be speaking to an automated assistant or that calls may be recorded or transcribed.
  • Check call summaries and follow up with callers yourself. Callwyn takes messages and booking requests; it does not confirm work, prices or appointments on your behalf unless you have agreed that with us.

5. Limitations of AI

Callwyn uses artificial intelligence and can occasionally mishear, misunderstand or summarise a call incorrectly. It is not an emergency service. Callers in an emergency should always contact the emergency services directly.

6. Data protection

When we handle your callers' information, we do so as your data processor, only on your instructions and in line with our Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available on request.

7. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

8. Changes and suspension

We may update these terms and will tell customers about significant changes by email. We may suspend the service if it is being misused or fees are unpaid, telling you first where we can.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
